Destruktion Records proudly presents the official resurrection of the mexican underground thrash-killer "Ominous Eyes" by DEUS MORTIS!!!
A special benefit-release for my sick friend "Daniel Lopez" of Deus Mortis, to support him and his great family and to help them out with the payment for the expensive operation he has to go through!!!

Deus Mortis is one of the killer examples for the high quality of the mexican thrash (metal in general!) underground during the early 90s, gifted and chosen by the ancient metal spirit without any fukkin compromise!!! "Ominous Eyes" was the second demo and also last official record of this magnificent band but this one truely deserved all the worship and legendary status, seriously (These guys are a strong part of the mexican metal history and played tons of shows back then)!!! While the sound was already extraordinary for being "just a demo" (album-sound quality!!!!!), it's especially the musical content on this demo, which will break your neck and rip your throat by surprises within their excellent songwriting!!! There were many thrash bands fighting hard during the 90s but most of them were lacking the "special feeling" (too many "repeating riffs of boredom", too hard focusing on clichees...) while "Deus Mortis" truely knew, what they were doing!!! "Ominous Eyes" is high on top of the list of the best 90s thrash records - end of discussion!!!

Excellent structures, a dangerously high level of pure energy and real aggresstion rides through this demo - same as their intense melodies and especially the killer solos, which are not just some randomly played notes on high speed... this shit is real!
